Echoform Sound License

1. Who this covers

This Echoform Sound License (“License”) is an agreement between Eduard Pantazi, the developer of Echoform (“the Developer”), and you, the person or organization using the Echoform app (“you”). It covers every sound generated with Echoform on your device, including edited, extended, looped and exported versions (each a “Sound”).

2. What you may do

The Developer grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable and royalty-free license to use, copy, edit, combine, publish, distribute, perform, broadcast and synchronize Sounds in your own works, for commercial and non-commercial purposes. This includes videos and films, social media, livestreams, podcasts, games and apps, advertising, presentations, music productions and broadcast. You don’t need to credit Echoform or the Developer.

3. What you may not do

You may not:

1. sell, license, give away or otherwise distribute Sounds on their own, or as part of a sound-effects library, sample pack, loop pack, asset-store listing or similar collection where the Sounds themselves are the main product;
2. register a Sound, or a work whose audio consists mainly of a Sound, with Content ID or any other audio fingerprinting or rights-management system, or use such a system to claim, block or monetize other people’s uses of similar audio;
3. claim that you hold exclusive rights in a Sound, or register a Sound on its own as a trademark or sound mark;
4. use Sounds to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or impersonate a real person.

4. Sounds aren’t exclusive

Echoform generates audio with AI models. Other people may create Sounds that are similar or identical to yours, and this License gives them the same rights. The Developer claims no ownership of the Sounds you create. Depending on the law where you are, AI-generated audio may not be protected by copyright at all.

5. Models

Sounds made with the Spark model are generated using Stable Audio Open Small by Stability AI and are also subject to the Stability AI Community License. Music made with the Melody model is generated using Magenta RealTime 2 by Google DeepMind (model weights under CC BY 4.0); Google claims no rights in its outputs, and you must not use it to create content that infringes the rights of others. Sounds made with the built-in Sketch engine are generated entirely by Echoform’s own code. The models used are listed in the app under Settings → Third-party notices.

6. Free and Pro

This License applies the same way to Sounds made on the free plan and on Echoform Pro. Canceling a subscription or deleting the app doesn’t affect Sounds you already made.

7. Certificates

Each export can include a license certificate showing the Sound ID, prompt, model, seed and date. Certificates are a record of how a Sound was made. They aren’t required to use a Sound.

8. No warranty

Sounds are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the Developer doesn’t guarantee that a Sound is fit for a particular purpose or that it doesn’t resemble existing audio, and isn’t liable for damages arising from your use of Sounds. Nothing in this License limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be waived.

9. Ending this License

If you break section 3, your rights end for the Sounds and uses involved. All other rights you received continue.

10. Law and changes

This License is governed by the laws of Romania. The Developer may publish new versions of this License. A new version applies only to Sounds created after it takes effect. Questions: support@pantazisoft.com.
