Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Echoform app (“Echoform” or “the app”), developed by Eduard Pantazi (“the Developer”, “I”). By downloading or using Echoform you agree to these Terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”). If these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, these Terms apply to the extent permitted.

1. The app

Echoform generates sound effects and instrumental music from text descriptions using AI models that run on your device, and lets you edit and export the results. Some models are downloaded separately after you install the app. Generated audio can vary, and the same description can produce different results.

2. Free plan and Echoform Pro

The free plan includes a limited number of new generations each calendar month, shorter maximum lengths, and full access to editing and exporting. Echoform Pro removes the monthly limit and unlocks longer sounds, multiple variations and future models, as described in the app.

Pro is offered as an auto-renewable weekly subscription and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, and may vary by region.

3. Subscriptions

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless it’s canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions), or from Settings → Manage subscription in Echoform. Canceling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • If a free trial or introductory offer is offered, any unused portion ends when you purchase a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Lifetime purchase

The lifetime purchase unlocks Echoform Pro for as long as the app is available to you on the App Store, on devices signed in to the same Apple Account. You can restore it from Settings → Restore purchases.

5. Sounds you create

Your use of audio generated with Echoform is governed by the Echoform Sound License. In short: sounds are royalty-free and cleared for commercial use, without attribution, but may not be resold as standalone sound libraries or registered with Content ID. Because sounds are generated by AI, others may create similar or identical sounds, and the Developer doesn’t claim ownership of what you create.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Echoform to break the law, infringe the rights of others, impersonate a real person, or create content intended to deceive or harm. You agree not to reverse engineer, extract or redistribute the app or its models except as permitted by law or by the licenses of the components involved.

7. Third-party models and components

Echoform includes or downloads models and software from third parties, including Stable Audio Open Small by Stability AI (Stability AI Community License), Magenta RealTime 2 by Google DeepMind (CC BY 4.0) and open-source libraries. Their terms are listed in the app under Settings → Third-party notices and continue to apply to those components.

8. Changes and availability

The Developer may update, change or discontinue features or models, and may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page. Continuing to use Echoform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Disclaimer and liability

Echoform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, the Developer makes no warranties that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated audio will meet your needs, and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. The Developer’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app or Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be waived.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
