Which model should I use?

Sketch makes sound effects: clicks, whooshes, impacts, ambiences, foley, sci-fi and simple game loops. Spark makes instrumental loops from a genre, an instrument and a mood. Melody makes longer instrumental tracks. Open Learn (the book icon on the Create screen) for prompt recipes and examples for each one.

Why do Spark and Melody need a download?

They’re AI models that run on your iPhone, so they’re downloaded once: about 1.6 GB for Spark and about 870 MB for Melody. After that they work offline. Downloads are stored outside your iCloud backup, and you can delete a model any time in Settings → Models & storage. Sketch is built in and needs no download.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone 14 and newer, and iPads with an A15 or M1 chip or later, running iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. Melody needs iOS 18. Generation runs on the device, so newer iPhones generate faster.

Can I use the sounds commercially?

Yes. Sounds you make are royalty-free and cleared for commercial use under the Echoform Sound License, on the free plan and on Pro, with no attribution required. You can’t resell them as standalone sound packs or register them with Content ID.

What do I get with Pro?

Unlimited generations, four variations at once, sounds and music up to 60 seconds, and new models as they arrive. The free plan includes 10 new sounds a month, sounds up to 11 seconds, and the full editor and exports. Pro is available as a weekly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.

How do I restore or cancel a purchase?

To restore Pro on a new device, open Settings in Echoform and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account. To cancel the weekly subscription, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions → Echoform, or tap Manage subscription in Echoform’s Settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

A sound isn’t what I asked for. Any tips?
  • Name what you’d hear, not the scene: instruments, genre and mood for music; the sound, its material and the space for effects.
  • Start from a preset (All presets on the Create screen) and edit its text.
  • Generate again for a new take, or turn on Make 4 variations with Pro and keep the best one.
  • Echoform makes instrumentals. Spark checks each take for voices and redoes it if it hears one.
Does Echoform collect my data?

No. Generation runs on your iPhone; your prompts and sounds never leave it. There’s no account, analytics or tracking. See the Privacy Policy for details.
